Diet? What diet? When I first began Ray’s eating plan and work out routine I realized this is not a diet but a true healthy way of life. I love food, but when I realized how much I was eating I couldn’t believe how unhealthy and really a waste it was. Now I feel like I have control and respect for what I am eating. Of course you can have that piece of cake, but I learned having a whole apple would satisfy me better in the long run. I have lost a total of sixty-five pounds and I will be able to maintain this healthy weight for the rest of my life. This might sound cheesy but I really do feel like I can be myself now. Once you start this lifestyle you will never go back; the weight comes off so quick and naturally. This plan has really changed my way of life forever!

When I first heard of Ray's program I was in disbelief. But I saw others that had been on the program and they looked great so I thought I would give it a try. It seemed to good and simple to be true. The hardest part of the program is adjusting your lifestyle of eating. I say lifestyle and not diet, because it is a change in HOW you eat, not WHAT you eat. That's what I love so much about the program, I can still eat the foods I want and love, I just eat less of them. I also love that I don't have to go home everyday after work and run out and try to get in 30-60 minutes of exercise. Now I have the flexibility to do what I want, when I want.
To date, I have been on Ray's program for 9 months. When I started his program I weighed 145 pounds, I was a size 10/12 and my overall cholesterol was 220. Since then I have lost 25 pounds, and kept it off, I am now a size 2, (haven't been this small since I was a teenager) and I recently had my cholesterol checked and it is down 32 points, to 188! If that is not enough, I have much more energy now and I feel and look great.
Ray and his program should be an inspiration to everyone!

The Progressive Exercise Program is so simple and sensible I want to kick myself for not discovering it in my 20's. This disappointment is somewhat mitigated by the fact that I am now in my 50's and feeling better than I did in my 20's because of Ray's program. I hate to seem like a push over, but after my first consultation with Ray, I was sold. I was skeptical going in and still didn't believe it would work all that well, but is was worth the old college try. Not that I tried that hard in college, but I did get my degree. I digress...so I did, give it the old college try.
I was 54 years old and felt I was about 25 pounds overweight. Since my late 30's I had fluctuated in weight from 205 pounds to 248 pounds and been through the gain loss cycle four or five times. Each time it was some different program, carbs, no fat, no alcohol, the balance diet, or just starving myself. I always had limited success, but generally hit the wall at 220 or 225 pounds. For proper perspective I am 73" tall, hedging on being large boned and medium muscle structure. My ideal weight in college was 195 pounds and that was with no restriction on my alcohol intake.
Long story short I started Ray's program in October 2006 at 241 pounds. It took me approximately 3 months to get a rhythm in controlling my intake at meals and eating often. I didn't restrict what I ate, but I controlled how much and made sure I had my 3 squares, two light snacks in between meals and generally popcorn before bed time. My initial goal was to get down to 225 and re-assess. When I hit 225, I said 210 sounds good. When I hit 210, I was convinced I could regain my college weight of 195. So...in July 2007 (9 months after starting the program), bingo, 195 (46 pounds lighter). For the past year I have been experiencing normal fluctuations between 195 and 200 pounds and life is good. This program is life changing and a lifetime commitment for me. I wll be with Ray as long as he chooses to continue to improve the lives of the people that seek his assistance and wisdom. And, that is the second best part of his program...his willingness to share his knowledge and experiences. I am also much wiser. You will understand after the first five minutes that you talk to Ray.

Ray Kilmer's Progressive Exercise Program has helped me to lose weight and get back in shape. Ray's unique fitness program of diet and exercise, along with his positive attitude, has helped keep me motivated to reach my fitness goals. This program has changed my outlook on working out and has given me the determination I need for positive results.

I have been working with Ray Kilmer at Progressive Exercise for the past year and have had many positive results. Prior to Progressive Exercise, I worked out on a fairly regular basis at a gym as well as stayed active with many outside activities. When I first heard about the Progressive Exericse Program, I was somewhat skeptical; however, once I met Ray and began the program I quickly became a believer. I always considered myself to be healthy and in good condition. It wasn't until I started Ray's program did I realize that I wasn't even close to my full potential. Since my first workout with Ray, I have not only increased my strength, stamina, and endurance, but also my mental acuity. It is amazing how working out one day a week can provide all of these benefits. Ray continues to motivate me to strive to meet my personal goals.

Progressive Exercise has really helped me to think before eating just anything. I don't go to Ray's, I live in Florida. I follow his plan because of what my sister-in-law was telling me of her success. I exercised a lot and was not seeing change. I started this program and lost a pant size in 3 weeks. The training day is very intense but you feel it for a day or two and can tell your body is working on recovery. The eating takes some work but I feel so much better when I truly stick to it. My energy is higher, blood pressure better and hoping to see a better cholesterol. I challenge anyone to it.

I have tried everything to lose weight and when I say everything I mean everything. Liquid diets, Jenny Craig, Weight Wathcers, Nutra systems, any kind of diet pill you can think of, the grapefruit diet, the cabbage soup diet...I could go on and on. However I had never really focused on exercise. I was very skeptical that Ray's system would work, ten to twenty minutes a week only and lose weight. Impossible I thought. However, I watched several people go and get fit in a very short period of time. So I thought it was worth a try. Now I am hooked. I haven't lost a lot of weight but I have gained other things that are just as important. First and foremost I feel so much better. I have more energy to play with my kids and can keep going to the end of the day without being completely exhausted. Second I have lost inches. I have gone from a size 24 to a size 18 in 4 months. My legs look fantastic and for the first time in my life I have a butt. Each and every week I grow stronger and stronger. I know as long as I keep at it the weight will start to come off. I know as long as I keep working hard Ray will keep working with me and never give up.

Ray has a remarkable wealth of knowledge. He has a clear concise way of filing you in on the basics and great attention to detail as well. It's great to know that you can effectively use your time so wisely. My wife and I have made significant gains in a very short amount of time. We will continue to utilize Ray's services in the future.

As a wife, mother of three children and small business owner, there just never seems to be time to spend on me. Fortunately a business acquaintance of mine told me about Progressive Exercise and Ray Kilmer's work-out program that only takes a little time one day a week.
Having heard about so many "quick fix" weight training programs, I was not easy to convince. However, I figured that it was worth the phone call. That phone call three years ago has changed how I look and feel dramatically!! Amazingly, results were becoming visible within a few weeks and now at 47 years of age I am stronger than I have ever been in my life even though I was quite active before Progressive Exercise.
Several of my friends have seen the results as well and have become clients just based on my appearance. I am wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts for the first time since moving to Las Vegas in 1984. (It is so nice to finally be comfortable in the hot summer months). But, best of all, this resistance training workout is something that my teenage daughter and I do together every week. Productive quality time with her is priceless!!
Thanks Ray---

To Whom it May Concern,
I've always been severly overweight and inactive. Now at age 36 I am in the best shape of my life. I have stamina and strength (I had only dreamed of this), from Ray's workout done once a week for less than 20 minutes. In the 11 months I've been working out at Progressive Exercise I have lost 80 lbs, over 45 inches and 7 dress sizes. Thank you Ray for showing me the way - the only way to live.
Sincerely,

To Whom it May Concern,
I have been working out at Progressive Exercise for nearly 5 years. I first became attracted to the concept, due to the fact that I just could not find the time to consistently go to the gym and exercise. The fantastic claim that a 30 minute or less intense program could accomplish the same results or better was my motivation. I can honestly say that I have consistently increased either my time or amount of weight lifted each week during that period. The time saving element has certainly been a reward however the true benefit has been the increased stamina, strength and mobility. At over 50 years old I am able to hike, bike and generally enjoy an enhanced life. Another benefit has been the noticable lack of illness. I can't remember the last time I have suffered from a cold or the flu. I would recommend whole-heartedly this Progressive Exercise philosophy to individuals of all ages. I appreciate having the extra time in my life as Progressive Exercise allows me not to be a slave to my workout regiment.

To Whom it May Concern,
In January of 2003, my husband and I made a "New Year's Resolution" to lose weight and work out 5-6 times a week. Since we had a little one at home that was 2, along with two teenagers, it seemed the best time would be every morning around 5:00 a.m. Diligently we hit the gym daily; usually taking Sunday's off and then monitored our diet by writing down everything we ate. By May, 2003, sure, we'd lost a little bit of weight, but we certainly hadn't seen the results we'd hoped after spending an honest 5 months doing this.
I had heard about Ray Kilmer and Progressive Exercise and was determined to find out about this amazing workout. It took me almost a month to find him and I'm so glad I didn't give up! I scheduled my first workout on June 3rd, 2003, my husband's birthday. We figured what did we have to lose?
Ray's theorys and exericses seemed a little out there at first. How could you only work out 1 time a week and with 5 exercises and still get results? Ray assured us that we'd need no other gym time, which was fine with me! At first, we both started still hitting the gym to do some cardio a couple of times a week. It was hard to trust Ray and realize that it wasn't necessary. After about a month of that, we both stopped going to the gym completely and continued on with Ray once a week. Our teenagers started going to Ray at this time also.
By Christmas, I had lost about 15 pounds and my husband had lost about the same. We both looked and felt so great that several people at my husband's Christmas party noticed and asked what we had been doing. We told them we worked out once a week for about 15 minutes and started eating 5 small meals a day about every 3 hours.
This June 2006, will be our 3 year anniversary with Ray and Progressive Exercise, to date, my husband has lost about 35 pounds and looks great and is as strong as I've ever seen him. I've lost about 25 pounds, and am in the best shape that I've ever been!
Every year at the Christmas party, the same people ask if we are still doing that "once a week thing" for exercise and now we just kind of smile and look at each other. Our answer now is "absolutely, can't imagine ever doing anything else!"
It's so amazing to be a working mother of 3, and only have to find the time once a week for a few minutes to look and feel this great!
The diet part is merely common sense that most people cannot grasp. I love being in control of my life and my weight like this. My husband and I enjoy life, we haven't sacrificed eating great food or desserts, we just know what our limits are.
I am so thankful that we met Ray and Progressive Exercise is a part of my life and always will be.
Sincerely,
Tex and Andra Brooks
To Whom it may concern,
I have without a doubt, never before experienced an exercise protocol that has improved and shaped my body in such an effective manner in the least amount of time.
I do acrobatics for a living and at 47 years old and at my age I am endlessly mindful of the dangers that my work may inflict upon me mentally and physically. Progressive Exercise has alleviated most of the stress I endure associated with the constant maintenance of my body and has generated within me a renewed source of mental strength.
After my 15 minute workout, I am left exhausted, lying on the floor in the most aerobically ecstatic state that I have ever encountered. I employ only 3 of the 5 available machines.
But it’s more than just the machines for me - It’s the man himself, Ray Kilmer, who has the penetrating power to convey with eloquent dialogue, the profound importance of “self interest” as a virtue.
When a efficient protocol such as Progressive Exercise’s weight training is guided by the efficient and rational thinking of a human being, the result spawns an even more mindful, self guided response to focus on one’s own overall health. Ray has convinced me that one cannot separate mind and body - that: what I do and how I think affects my happiness.
I spend more time in Ray’s office engaged in motivational, philosophical conversation than I do pumping weights. I walk out of his office getting a universal workout that challenges my limitations on all levels. My session ends with a booster shot of self-esteem and a fortified perception in the value of my life.
I can keep going………I will keep going.

Ray,
I have to say that I’ve never been more amazed with the results of any particular diet! I’ve lost only a few pounds on the scale, but that’s in part due to the fact that I’m gaining muscle at the same time. In terms of looks, I have never had this low of body fat except maybe when I was anemic as a child. I’m not down to the end yet, but I can see where this is going and I’m excited.
I must also comment on the way I feel! I’ve never, either on or off any “diet”, felt as good as I do now. I’m never fasting for long periods of time. If I feel hungry (my stomach is “growling”) then I know that it’s time for my next meal and I eat. Gone, too, are the days of waiting until the last meal of the day to gorge myself on and then feeling not only guilty at how much I ate but also disgustingly and uncomfortably full.
Perhaps you should write a book describing your method. Every time that I’ve run into somebody unhappy about the way they look (meaning overweight) I’ve suggested this method of healthy living. If you had a book out I’d have recommended it to about half a dozen people by now. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to figure out how to live healthily.
